 STORY HOUR
EVERY MONDAY AND THURSDAY

FROM 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Children ages 0-6 and their caregivers are welcome to come and hear stories, sing songs, and socialize. Please join us!

LEGO CLUB:

THURSDAY, January 26 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Youth Lego enthusiasts are invited to stop by for some creative building time with other kids. We meet on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month.


PJ STORY HOUR:
THURSDAY, January 26 at 6:30 p.m.

Miss Sarah will be entertaining children with some snowy stories and songs, as well as a craft and a snack.

HOMESCHOOLERS’ BOOK GROUP

Thursday, February 2nd, 1:00pm

A book discussion for homeschooled children ages 8 to 10, and 11 and up. The groups meet on the first Thursday of each month at 1:00pm to discuss a variety of books. Registration required – limited openings.

 

CLASSIC MOVIE NIGHT

February 2, Thursday, at 6 p.m.
While working as a night nurse for a family, Stanwyck uncovers a sinister plot by the chauffeur, Clark Gable, and attempts to thwart his plans. Directed by William Wellman and released in 1931.
February 9, Thursday, at 6 p.m.
In order to escape a desperate life of poverty, Stanwyck moves to NY City and uses her feminine charms to move up the corporate ladder. Directed by Alfred Green and released in 1933.


Kids' Craft

Saturday, February 4th, 10:30am

Stop by and make a cute snowman snow measuring stick. Ages 5 and up - registration required: 802-524-1507.

 


Downloadable  Audio Books are here!

St. Albans Free Library is pleased to offer a downloadable audio book service.  You can select audio books from the Listen Up! Vermont Web site, and save the audio books to your home computer, then transfer them to an MP3 Player or, in some cases, burn them to a CD to listen to at your leisure. Visit www.listenupvermont.org and go to sign in, then chose “St. Albans Free Library” from the libraries listed and then your library card barcode.

    Friends of the St. Albans Free Library's Book Cellar * Used Book Sale*  Held in the basement of the Library. $3.00 per bag of Books!

     

    Multiple Copies for Your Book Group
    The Library has a number of titles available in multiple copies for your book group to borrow.
    Books check out for 60 days. To view a list of titles search our catalog by placing "book groups" in the search field of a subject search.
